Everglades National Park was the highlight of my 2003 trip
to Florida. This park has some nice nature trails and
provided the opportunity to see plenty of Alligators up
close. If you haven't had the opportunity to experience the
diverse ecosystem that swamplands support you are in for a
treat when you visit the Everglades. If you plan to visit
the Everglades make sure to budget at least a full day so
that you have the opportunity to do a little bit of
exploring in the park.
The National Park Service website does a
much better job of describing this place than I ever
