Haleakala
Before sunrise the summit of Haleakala is a cold and
unwelcoming place. We went up to the summit for sunrise
this day and it was 35 degrees, 20-30mph winds, and we
were in the middle of the cloud. We felt sorry for those
who were shivering in thin hotel blankets. Sadly the
clouds didn't break for sunrise this day.
